Hello there! My name is Uendi Hoxha and I’m a senior student majoring Computer Science at University of New York Tirana. I enjoy programming as it allows me to express and expand my knowledge that I have gained. I like to read, explore and document my observations. In this website you will find my writings related to certain topics in the field of Computer Science, as well as my projects that I have done over time.
Determination is an element that characterizes me as a programmer; I believe that with little organization and time management, everyone can achieve what they want, and in my case is that pure piece of code which is transformed into the product of the future. Over time programming can seem tedious, especially in the first steps, still I am an optimistic person, always analyzing patiently and looking for the best solutions.
Rather than focusing on learning as many programming languages as possible, I try to center on learning and understanding the logic of programming. Of course that we do not have to invent the wheel from the beginning, but I think that is important to know the foundations of programming, which later will be helpful when facing different scenarios/frameworks. I have a good knowledge in web development and also in object-oriented programming in general. (Java, JavaFX, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, C#). Frameworks I have knowledge of are jQuery, ASP.NET and Laravel(beginner). Moreover, I have first started hacking since a young age, and later I adapted with programming. I still practice it on my own, but the commitment that I dedicate to programming and my academic performance doesn't allow me much time to spend with it as before. However, the field that I'm interested the most is web application development, as I have spent more time learning web development and I can expand my creative skills better in this area.
On my GitHub account @uendihoxha I post my course projects and exercises that I have done: data structure or JavaScript exercises. @uendicode is the account that belongs to my YouTube channel, in which I upload all the source codes. I find it very beneficial to contribute on open source, as it helps me to develop my skills.

This quote is from one of my favorite business books, Good to Great by Jim Collins. As programmers we tend to provide good coding in limited time, but the importance of it is not just coding, but finding solutions, and why not, great ones. Technology evolves and so should our greatness on keyboard.
